It's week 20 of Series II of the Stab-N-Grabs. Filip (4 wins) and Frank (3 wins)
are leading the pack. At 1:45 the room is filled with the sounds of clashing blades
as everyone is warming up. Seventeen fencers gather together to try their
skills and luck to capture Pierre Reposte for a week of glory.

With seventeen fencers Frank and Alan faced off to see who would get into
the first round. This day it was Alan's turn to knock Frank out early (5-2).
John and Michelle (a.k.a. Chelle) started round one with Chelle's long
reach giving her the victory (5-3). Libby and Tony the Pirate followed with Libby
upsetting Tony (5-3) to move up. Filip and Joseph fought with Filip taking the
win (5-4). Austin faced Stefany and easily moved on (5-0). Michele fenced Ava
and in a close bout. Michele squeaked the win (5-4). Next came the strangest
looking battle with the tallest member, Magic Pants Andrew facing the smallest,
Jack the Giant Killer. In this case, the Magic Pants defeated the Giant Killer
(5-3). Jonah and Greg finished round one with Greg defeating Jonah (5-1).

Round two started with Alan facing Michelle with Alan taking the win (5-2).
Libby fought Filip, and for the first time ever Libby won (5-1). Note that
Libby only had to get one touch against Filip. Austin went against Michele
the foil fencer, and moved up (5-2). Andrew took down Greg next with Greg
whinning about losing (5-3).

Round three began with Alan and Libby, and in another surprise upset by
Libby she won and moved up (5-2). Austin and Andrew were next in a very
exciting and close match. Andrew took the win after a couple of double
touches at four to four (5-4). The final was Libby and Andrew. The tallest adult against
the shortest adult. Unfortunetly for Libby, Andrew's long reach served him
well and he won (5-3).

UNDERSTANDING THE GAME
The Stab-N-Grab has a built in handicap, for each time a person wins,
they start the next Stab-N-Grab down a point. Also if a rated fencer
joins in the game mid-season they match the highest point handicap.
