Total Fencers 15
Fifteen people for another Sunday of fun and fencing. It seems it was a
family kind of event with the Umanos clan showing up with four people
and the Wojcik's with two. Heik returned for the second time this series
making the event a lot harder. Even if he is not an epee fencer he is a
veteren fencer with a lot of tricks up his sleeve.
Jack and Patrick started the day off with Patrick taking the win again.
These are two great competitors and it is always exciting to watch them
fence. Old time member Jeff Knox returned to fence John Wojcik. Being a
little out of practice John defeated him. John Umanos is getting better
every week and was able to defeat Jonah. In an upset rising star Andrew
took out old-timer Greg. Filip took down Stefany next. Ava was the UNLUCKY
fencer facing Heik, who easily moved past her. Alan is getting in stride
and took Frank out in the first bout.
Round two started with young Patrick facing John Wojcik, who having children
of his own, felt no remorse about taking the win. John U. dropped to Andrew's
incredibly long arms. Filip took out Taylor next. In an upset Alan defeated
Heik to move to the next round.
John Wojcik lost to Andrew's reach as well in the first bout of round three.
Filip and Alan followed with Filip taking the win against Alan's fleching.
The final was Andrew and Filip, two kids both who use their reach to their
advantage. Today it was Filip who took the victory.
