April 12th, Easter Sunday, the second Stab-N-Grab event occurred.
Ten fencers showed up between 1pm and 2pm to vie for the Golden Pierre Reposte
trophy, fence their way to the five time championship and to work off some
Easter chocolate. Five fencers repeated up from last Sunday and five new fencers
showed up. Making a grand total of seventeen fencers having participating to date.

The event began sharply at 2pm. The bout elimination sheet was filled by seeding,
done by drawing cards. Filip Preradovic, last week's winner started all his bouts
with a one touch handicap. The event went quicker this week with fewer people but
the quality of fencers was equal to or better than last week.



Everett and Ryan were the first bout fought, with Everett moving up. Ja and Frank
were the second bout with Frank progressing. Next up were Brian and Everett with
Everett winning again. Gehret and Filip fought next with Filip winning, even
with his one touch handicap. Next up, Libby and Jessica, with Libby moving up.
Frank and Eric fought next with Frank going up. Everett then fought Filip, with
Everett moving up. Libby and Frank were next up, with Frank winning.

The Stab-N-Grab's final bout consisted of Frank (everyone's favorite coach)
and Everett (the crowd favorite). Once again, everyone gathered around Strip One
and the cheering began. Everett fought hard but it was Frank's day for victory.
So next week will see Frank and Filip start the day with a one touch handicap each.

It was suggested that at future Stab-N-Grabs, parents, families, friends and
others should be encouraged to attend and cheer for their heroes.
