The event started with epee. Kimberly and Ja were first with Ja moving up. Ken and Greg followed with Greg topping Ken. Tank faced Stephanie and rolled over her. Frank saw Michele, although Michele made an excellent showing Frank took the bout. Ramzey and Jessica were next with Ramzey moving up. Jack and Eric fenced next with Eric taking the win. Libby lost to Filip. The last bout of the first round was Kris and Everett with Everett winning. |

Round two began with Ja and Greg with Greg having to step down. Tank, unluckily had Frank and dropped his bout, he fought hard but Frank still took the win. Ramzey, the only primary saber fencer, lost to Eric. The final bout of the round was Filip and Everett, with Everett winning. |

Round three started with Ja and Frank. In a five to four win Frank moved up. He seemed awefully happy to not be starting all his bouts down three touches! Eric and Everett were the other bout and Everett moved up. The final bout was Frank and Everett with Everett winning Ironman part one and plans to move on to win the whole thing. |
| While the epee was in the final rounds the foil started. It was quite a challenge to get everyone out- fitted with equipment. As soon as the first two match-ups were available the foil began and true chaos reigned. Without trying to reconstruct the actual order what follows are the results of the event. Tank and Everett fought, with Everett winning. Frank and Ja were next with Frank taking the victory. Kris faced Kimberly and Kris was able to move up. Jack and Greg were next with Greg's long reach easily topping Jack. Libby and Ken were next with Ken taking the win. Michele fought Ramzey and Ramzey took the victory. Stephanie and Filip were next, with Filip moving up. The last bout was Eric and Jessica and Eric was was the winner. |

Round two began with Everett and Frank and Everett took the win (again!). Kris faced Greg and after breaking the only left-handed foil had to fence right handed to topple Greg. Ken then faced Ramzey and was able to sneak by him. The last round was Filip and Eric with Filip moving up. Everett faced Kris and was able to continue his winning streak. Ken stood across from Filip and almost got the win but Filip was able to take the victory. The final bout was Everett against Filip, it looked a lot like epee except they had to hit the body instead of the arm. In the end Everett won and now has two victories under his belt. |

While the foil was winding down the saber was gearing up. The chaos continues...There is even more equipment needed to get someone suited up for saber so much borrowing was needed. Again, the order here will be according to the tableau rather than the actual order. Everett and Jessica fought the first round with Everett moving up. Ramzey and Ja were next with Ja defeating the saber fencer at his own weapon. Jack tried his hand against Ken and Ken took with win. Kris and Greg fought hard with Kris taking the victory. Kimberly faced Filip with Filip moving up. Eric and Frank were next with Frank's experience topping Eric youth and enthusiasm. Libby fought Stephanie and took the win. Tank and Michele ended the round with Tank rolling over her. |

Round two started with Everett losing to Ja. Ken dropped to Kris. Filip lost to Frank's experience. Libby upset Tank by one touch. Round three began with Ja and Kris and Kris taking the win. Frank and Libby were next with no surprise of Frank being the winner, although Libby did get get three touches. Kris and Frank were the last bout with Frank easily taking Kris down to be the winner of the saber. |

Trying to figure out who the winner was interesting to say least. It took four people to do the adding. In the end to reduce stress and time requirements it was decided that a tie for third would make everyone happy. In the end Frank won because he rated higher in all three events overall. Everett was clearly in second being the winner of two events. He might have won the whole thing had he done better in saber. Ja and Filip both were extremely close in the points count. At the end of the day, everyone had fun and we'll probably repeat the adventure in a few months. Thanks and congratulations to everyone who was able to compete! |
